Job Summary

ByAllAccounts provides financial data aggregation software and services to the financial back-office market. This is an exciting time for the company as we are bringing new technology to the financial services market, our products are proven, our client list is expanding, and we are growing!

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Sales Development Representative supports our Marketing and Sales teams and is chartered with qualifying sales opportunities which are generated through our acquisition marketing team, and are then transitioned to Sales to close. This is an outbound calling position, requiring 30 – 40 dials per day on warm leads, resulting in, on average, 5-8 conversations per day. 

The individual will learn the techniques of interacting with different types of financial professionals, have fundamental sales skills appropriate for solution selling, and understand how to read different circumstances and learn how to alter selling skills appropriate to the situation. As part of the interview process, all candidates will participate in a mock 5–10 minute lead qualification call.

Specific responsibilities for this key, customer-facing role include:

  • Learn to qualify and convert leads into opportunities through the use of a guided call-flow process
  • Engage prospects in discussions, obtaining key information through the use of open-ended questioning techniques
  • Ensure a seamless transition of sales-ready opportunities to the sales team

  • Work off repeatable call scripts and follow-up processes, using company guidelines
  • Collaborate with more experienced marketing colleagues to improve quality of leads received
  • Accurately enter, update and maintain information in SalesForce.com

Minimum requirements for this position include:

  • 1+ years successful telemarketing or inside sales experience in a B2B technology or financial services firm supporting a sales team
  • Prior experience with solutions selling a plus
  • Ability to uncover prospects’ area of pain, decision-makers, gate-keepers, and budget
  • Experience working in a small to mid-sized company atmosphere
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, particularly phone skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team player, driven

Candidates will be required to pass criminal background and credit checks before hiring, as well as periodically thereafter.
